Open source, software-defined contracts
Smart Legal Contracts are used to connect software to conventional or modern software-defined templated contracts. SLC don't replace existing contracts, but can be used to augment them.
Our Mission
Decombine is dedicated to building the most trustworthy platform on the planet for establishing agreements between people, organizations, businesses, and governments.
What is a Smart Legal Contract?
A Decombine Smart Legal Contract is a compiled program written in the memory-safe Go programming language. The program can be run on any conventional operating system, including Linux, MacOS, and Windows. A contract can comfortably run on a smartwatch. The contract can be configured to launch specific software when specific conditions are met or when specific events occur.
How can I use a Smart Legal Contract?
Smart Legal Contracts provide a way of packaging the execution of a contractual agreeement into a standardized set of templates and tools. Once templates have been created, they can be shared, and re-used. We typically separate the execution of an agreement from the agreement itself, but combining the two leads to scenarios that aren't possible with conventional contracts.
